Türkischer Arbeitgeber Bund Hamburg e. V. founded
After five months of preparation, the Türkischer Arbeitgeber Bund Hamburg e. V. has been founded. The board has been elected and the office in Mundsburg moved into. The official founding event will follow in autumn.

After around five months of intensive preparatory work, the Türkischer Arbeitgeber Bund Hamburg e. V. (TAB Hamburg) has completed its founding phase. At the first official meeting in its own association premises in Mundsburg, the board was elected and subsequently submitted to the notary. Formal registration in the register of associations is imminent.
The association was first presented to the public on 18 January 2026 at the New Year's reception of the sister organisation TAB Kiel.

The elected board is composed as follows:

Goals of the association
TAB Hamburg sees itself as an economic network for entrepreneurs of Turkish origin in Hamburg and the surrounding area, open to founders, freelancers, academics and businesspeople of all sectors. The focus is on:
- Networking and exchange of experience among entrepreneurs
- Continuing education, information events and seminars
- Cooperation with institutions, chambers and universities
- Support for business start-ups and vocational training
- Promoting dialogue between entrepreneurs of different backgrounds
Sectoral commissions
For practical advocacy, six specialist commissions have been established, reporting to the board on a quarterly basis:
- Gastronomy & Tourism
- Services, Transport & Construction
- Digitalisation & Communication
- Finance & Accounting
- Start-ups & New Businesses
- Liberal Professions & Science
Membership
The monthly membership contribution is €20. Membership applications can be submitted with immediate effect.
Outlook
For autumn 2026, TAB Hamburg is planning a major public founding event. In addition, the association intends to cooperate step by step with sister organisations in Kiel, Bremen and Hanover in order to build a northern-Germany-wide economic network.
